Scheduling an Inspection

In order to determine a fair and proper fee, estimate how long the inspection will take, and have the proper contact information I will need certain particulars. When calling to order a Home Inspection please have the following details ready:

Required information:
  • Address of property?
  • When is the inspection required by?
  • Type of dwelling?
  • "TOT FIN SF" per MLS (total square feet of finished space)?
  • OR Sales Price if unsure of size of home?
  • Age or year built?
  • Slab, crawlspace or basement (finished or unfinished)?
  • Attached or Detached garage?
  • Number of heating/air conditioning systems?
  • Any unusual features or conditions?
  • Any additional structures to be inspected?
  • Will utilities/pilots be on? (mandatory for a complete inspection)

  • Occupied or vacant?
  • Any particular concerns you have with this property?
  • Will you (the client) be present for the inspection?
  • Client's email address?
  • Client's current mailing address? (for mailing the CD)
Optional information:
  • MLS number, if available?
  • Well or public water?
  • Septic field or public sewer?
  • Type of roof?
