Inspection Photos
These are real examples from my reports and represent typical annotated photos that you will receive via email (if desired) and also on CD via regular mail. It's really fun to see some of the things that show up in houses young and old, although some of these things may not be that much fun for the owner. Most "defects" though are easily fixed by a licensed tradesman and should be fixed for safety, health, comfort, efficiency, or utility cost reasons. Other items are cosmetic, while others are major red flags. Not everything is obvious to the "casual observer", especially if you don't frequent the crawlspace or attic often. Also there is the natural bias as a prospective buyer to overlook or downplay what you do see because you want that house!--which is normal, but you should know what you are getting into from a disinterested third party such as a home inspector.
