I have lived in the area for a long time now. I have bought and sold many homes. I know what it's like to be a buyer and a seller, and understand the issues the real estate agent is facing as well. While I work for my client (usually the buyer) I have empathy for those whose homes I am inspecting. I will report what I see, but will put it in perspective. I will be accurate and truthful, but will not be an alarmist or unnecessarily dramatic. And, I will always be available after the inspection for follow-up questions, for as long as you still have my number! I value my reputation and will do everything I can to deliver to you a timely, superior and usable inspection report (not filled with pages of disclaimers)--after all, my family name is riding on it!
As a Virginia Certified Home Inspector I do Residential Buyers Pre-Purchase Inspections, Sellers Pre-Listing (Disclosure) Inspections, 11 Month/One Year/First Year/Anniversary/Builder Warranty Inspections, and the "Home Owner's Manual" Consultation. I also perform New Construction "Quality Assurance" Phase Inspections from foundation to final along with Project Consultations. Additionally, I inspect light commercial properties and work with banks and insurance companies.
